We empower our customer to focus on its missions, confident that its land-based platforms and systems, warfighters and other personnel are in optimal condition to operate at peak performance.Major Duties And Responsibilities Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, backup planning, and business continuity procedures. Monitor maintenance tools, including performance monitoring, backup solutions, and troubleshooting. Manage virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and virtual environments efficiently. Manage and operate systems on-premises and in the cloud (Hybrid Environment). Manage storage systems, including SAN/NAS, storage allocation, and performance optimization. Participate in system architecture and design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure. Support other employees of the IT section in fulfilling their roles and provide technical guidance. Ensure compliance with all safety, housekeeping, and environmental directives. Perform system upgrades, patching, and optimization to maintain high availability and performance. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve IT infrastructure and services. Perform other duties as directed by the Manager, IT and Digitalization.Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or a related field in IT. Professional certifications such as MCSA or MCSE are required; additional certifications (e.g., VMware, Azure, CCNA) are a plus. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in managing Windows Server systems, networking, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments. Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Solid understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN. Experience with storage systems (SAN, NAS) and backup solutions. Proficient in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Experience in data center operations including servers, racks, power, cooling, and network infrastructure. Knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) and business continuity planning. Familiarity with monitoring, performance management, and troubleshooting tools. Ability to manage on-premises and cloud environments (Hybrid Infrastructure). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and manage priorities. Strong communication and documentation skills.
