Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Vendor Manager.
Responsibilities
- Assign and allocate translators, vendors, and trainers based on project requirements and instructions.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of translators to meet ongoing business needs.
- Recruit new vendors, negotiate rates and terms, and maintain current vendor records.
- Ensure competitive pricing and terms while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
- Create and monitor performance metrics to manage vendor profitability and effectiveness.
- Assist in cost reduction efforts without compromising service quality.
- Provide support to Project Managers and internal stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, Sales, and Marketing teams.
- Establish and enforce quality assurance processes for accurate and culturally appropriate translations.
- Ability to work with our tracking tool or similar programs.

- Strong Analytical Skills and expertise in Procurement
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management
- Exceptional Communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in the translation industry is essential
