ole Overview:

The Genesys Cloud Developer will be responsible for architecting and implementing customer engagement solutions using Genesys Cloud CX, integrating them with Wittify.ai’s AI engines, and ensuring seamless routing, automation, and reporting flows. You will work closely with product, AI engineering, and customer success teams to deliver intelligent CX experiences.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Genesys Cloud CX solutions, including Architect flows, routing strategies, IVR apps, and digital interaction workflows.
  • Integrate Genesys Cloud with Wittify.ai systems (APIs, AI bots, NLP engines, CRM, ticketing, and external databases).
  • Build and maintain Genesys Cloud data actions, AWS Lambda connectors, and middleware services.
  • Configure queues, routing logic, skills, agent groups, and operational rules.
  • Develop automation solutions using Genesys Cloud APIs, Webhooks, EventBridge, and SDKs.
  • Implement and optimize Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) features such as quality monitoring, forecasting, and scheduling.
  • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflow efficiency.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting using Genesys Analytics (GI2).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and best-practice coding standards.
  • Support deployment, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement processes.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • GCD certification is a must.
  • 2–5 years of experience working with Genesys Cloud CX.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:

Genesys Architect (IVR, flows, routing strategies)

Genesys APIs / SDKs / Web Services

Data Actions and integrations (REST, SOAP)

Lambda functions or equivalent middleware

  • Strong knowledge of contact center concepts: routing, queues, skills, WEM, QoS, interaction lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Node.js, JavaScript, Java).
  • Experience with OAuth, authentication flows, JSON, and API security.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
