The Network & Infrastructure Manager designs, implements, and manages the organization's IT network and infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalability. This includes maintaining high uptime, optimizing performance, overseeing upgrades, ensuring regulatory compliance, and aligning IT strategies with business growth objectives.
Scope of Accountability
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT network systems and infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
- Ensure the delivery of a secure, scalable, and highly available IT infrastructure that supports the company's operational and strategic goals.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with sustainability and digital transformation goals.
- Ensure stable, secure, and high-performance network operations with minimal downtime.
- Manage infrastructure upgrades, hybrid cloud environments, storage, backups, and disaster recovery systems.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security regulations, and industry standards.
- Support digital transformation, smart factory initiatives, and IoT implementations across operations.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies to keep the infrastructure innovative and scalable.
- Manage the IT infrastructure budget and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
- Identify risks, analyze system performance, and implement proactive improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide tailored IT solutions.
- Lead and develop the Network & Infrastructure team, fostering continuous improvement.
- Maintain IT documentation and provide regular performance and compliance reports to senior management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and network management, of which 3 years in a managerial role, with proven expertise in managing hybrid cloud environments. Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
