Job Description
- Develop and manage architectural BIM models in alignment with project requirements and standards.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of technical drawings and documentation.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed architectural documentation for ongoing projects.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts using BIM tools to ensure seamless integration across disciplines.
- Support the technical office in reviewing project specifications, BOQs, and material submittals.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, progress reports, and technical presentations.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and company quality standards throughout all project phases.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to address technical queries and provide effective solutions.
- Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain up-to-date records of project documentation and revisions within the BIM environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a technical office or architectural BIM role.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and building codes.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing shop drawings and technical documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools and reporting techniques.
