Job Description
- Lead and oversee interior design projects from concept development through to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and Space22’s design standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including designers, architects, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and proactively addressing any issues or delays.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout all project phases.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure quality control and compliance with design specifications.
- Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and material selections to clients for approval.
- Oversee procurement of materials, furnishings, and finishes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Facilitate project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project goals and timelines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the project management team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of proven experience managing interior design projects, preferably in a design studio or architectural firm.
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
- Proficiency in project management software and design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
- Solid understanding of interior design principles, materials, and construction processes.
- Experience in budget management, procurement, and contract administration.
- Ability to conduct site visits and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
