What You'll Do
As our Bookkeeping Accountant, you'll be the financial backbone for diverse businesses. You will:
- Maintain comprehensive financial records ensuring full compliance with KSA accounting standards and ZATCA regulations
- Process complex transactions including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and multi-currency operations
- Manage complete VAT lifecycle including calculations, filings, and compliance with current 15% VAT requirements
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with variance analysis
- Lead bank reconciliations and cash flow management for growing businesses
- Coordinate audit processes and provide detailed audit support documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize accounting workflows and implement process improvements
- Provide financial insights that drive strategic business decisions
The Ideal Candidate Has
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/bookkeeping experience with proven KSA market expertise
- Advanced proficiency in modern accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar ERP systems)
- Expert-level Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex financial modeling
- Deep understanding of ZATCA requirements, VAT compliance, and Saudi tax regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Collaborative approach and ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
