Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to support and supervise industrial construction projects at our factory in Alexandria. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience in industrial or similar construction projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and finalize project schedules with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
• Develop and adjust work plans for the planning department according to project requirements.
• Oversee daily on-site activities and ensure full adherence to the approved schedule.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks across all phases.
• Assist in managing industrial construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and QA/QC procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering and execution teams.
• Maintain effective communication with internal departments, consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor project progress and prepare periodic reports covering performance, risks, and corrective actions.
• Participate in reviewing project deliverables and estimating costs.
• Supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure proper execution.
• Support procurement and selection of materials, equipment, and tools, while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and technical specifications

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial construction, gas stations, or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of steel structures, including design, fabrication, and installation.
• Proficiency in engineering and design software such as:
  Autodesk, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000, Tekla Structures.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with accuracy in planning and calculations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Preference for candidates with industrial project experience.
• Preferably from Alexandria residents
