Job Description
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather and update project progress data.
- Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and resource forecasts.
- Ensure all planning activities comply with company standards and client requirements.
- Analyze project risks and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to align material and equipment delivery schedules.
- Support the preparation of tender programs and extension of time claims.
- Continuously update and optimize schedules based on actual site progress and changing project requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in planning engineering within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and project lifecycles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
