Job Description – Production Manager

Industry: Cosmetic or Beverage Manufacturing (Mandatory)

Experience Required: 15–20 Years (Only from Cosmetic or Beverage Manufacturing)

Role Overview

Abdos Oil is looking for a senior Production Manager strictly from the Cosmetic or Beverage manufacturing industry to lead and manage end-to-end production operations. Candidates must have hands-on experience in cosmetic or beverage plants with strong exposure to batch/process manufacturing, filling, and packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Lead production operations in a cosmetic or beverage manufacturing plant to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Manage manpower, machinery, and material utilization efficiently.
• Improve productivity, OEE, yield, and throughput.

Quality, GMP & Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with GMP, ISO, and cosmetic / beverage regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with QA on batch release, deviations, CAPA, and audits.
• Support internal, customer, and regulatory inspections.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop production supervisors, engineers, and operators.
• Drive discipline, accountability, and performance culture on the shop floor.
• Conduct training on SOPs, GMP, hygiene, and safety practices.

Process Improvement & Cost Control

• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Reduce wastage, rework, and downtime.
• Support new product launches, scale-up, and line expansion activities.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Maintenance, QA, Supply Chain, Planning, and R&D teams.
• Ensure smooth coordination for raw material availability and preventive maintenance.

Safety & EHS

• Ensure compliance with EHS and workplace safety standards applicable to cosmetic or beverage plants.

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

• Industry Experience (Non-Negotiable):
• 15–20 years exclusively in Cosmetic or Beverage Manufacturing
• Candidates from other manufacturing industries will NOT be considered
• Education:
• BE / BTech in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Food Technology, or related fields
• Technical Exposure:
• Batch / process manufacturing
• Filling & packaging lines
• GMP, ISO (HACCP preferred for beverage)
• Leadership Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years in a senior production leadership role
• Language:
• English mandatory (Arabic preferred)
