HIRING FOR A Senior Solar Site Engineer with experience in small, medium & large-scale PV solar energy projects including knowledge in solar On-grid, pumping, hybrid & off-grid systems to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Supervising crew members, preparing estimates for Project timelines and material cost.
- Develop and maintain project timeline, identify the critical path and key milestones for project’s success.
- Handle all kinds of site coordination starting from budget and projects timeline all the way to the installation process, delivery and commissioning.
- Apply for and obtain interconnection approvals with electricity distribution companies while abiding with design requirements
- Schedule and perform technical meetings with clients to ensure client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, technology providers, OEMs, Lenders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Must be a Resident of Cairo or Giza
- Proven track record of 3-4 years of solar project management experience, especially in On-grid, Off-grid & Solar Pumping.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes.
- Good working knowledge of standard utility process for interconnection approvals with electricity distribution companies and design requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in technical Software programs (PVSYST, AutoCAD and SketchUp).
