Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Travel Consultant located in Cairo, Egypt. The Travel Consultant will assist clients with travel planning, including booking transportation, accommodations, and other travel-related arrangements. The role requires providing excellent customer service, handling inquiries, and advising clients on travel destinations, schedules, and costs. The Travel Consultant will also resolve potential issues, manage itineraries, and keep up-to-date with travel regulations, trends, and systems to ensure seamless services.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in travel planning, itinerary creation, and booking management
- Proficiency in customer service and handling client inquiries
- Knowledge of travel-related systems and software (e.g., GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
- Familiarity with travel regulations, documentation, and visa processes preferred
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Prior experience in the travel or hospitality industry is advantageous but not mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required
