We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Health & Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining a safe working environment to minimize risks and workplace accidents.
Job Requirements
Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
Monitor employees’ and contractors’ compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
Develop and deliver health and safety training and awareness programs.
Ensure proper use and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Coordinate with relevant authorities regarding health and safety requirements.
Assist in developing emergency response and evacuation plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum experience: (to be specified).
Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
Professional certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH are preferred.
