Job Description
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to ensure timely delivery of automotive products.
- Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to align production plans with material availability and demand forecasts.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to address delays, equipment malfunctions, or changes in demand.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure production plans meet quality standards and technical specifications.
- Implement and maintain production planning systems and software for accurate tracking and reporting.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate production status, challenges, and solutions.
- Support inventory management by optimizing stock levels and minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the production planning process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing within the automotive or related industry.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles, scheduling techniques, and workflow optimization.
- Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
