Job Description
- Lead the design, development, and testing of innovative electrical systems and components for power applications.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Develop and execute experimental plans, analyze test data, and iterate designs based on findings.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and test reports.
- Support the transition of prototypes to full-scale production, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with industry standards.
- Evaluate and select appropriate components, materials, and suppliers for R&D projects.
- Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and cost reduction in product designs.
- Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to power systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns within the R&D team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in research and development within the electrical or power industry.
- Proven track record in designing and developing electrical systems or components.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with CAD tools, circuit simulation, and prototyping.
- Familiarity with power electronics, UPS systems, and DC/AC power distribution.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work onsite and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.
