Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract & Tendering

• Lead pre-contract commercial and contractual activities for procurement packages (modules, inverters, BOS, trackers, civil & electrical works, O&M, logistics, etc.).
• Review RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents to ensure clear commercial and contractual terms.
• Support bid teams during techno-commercial evaluations and negotiations.
• Prepare contract strategies aligned with project risk profiles and company policies.

Contract Drafting & Negotiation

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including EPC subcontracts, supply agreements, framework agreements, and service contracts.
• Ensure contracts adequately address scope, pricing, delivery schedules, LDs, warranties, payment terms, change management, and risk allocation.
• Coordinate with Legal, Engineering, Project, Finance, and SCM teams during negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and client contract flow-down requirements.

Commercial & Risk Management

• Identify contractual and commercial risks during pre-contract stage and propose mitigation measures.
• Ensure back-to-back alignment between client contracts and vendor/subcontractor contracts.
• Support preparation of deviations, clarifications, and negotiation summaries for approvals.
• Assist in finalization of contract value, payment milestones, and securities (BGs, LC, retention).

Education & Experience:

• 6–12 years of experience in contracts management, preferably in solar EPC / renewable energy / infrastructure projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Commerce, or Business Administration
• Postgraduate qualification in Contract Management / Construction Law is an advantage
• Strong exposure to pre-contracts, procurement contracts, and subcontracting
