Summary
The Quality Control Sub Manager supports the Quality Control Manager in ensuring that all textile and garment products meet company quality standards and customer requirements. The role oversees daily QC activities across production stages and ensures effective inspection, reporting, and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
Support the QC Manager in managing daily quality control operations.
Supervise QC inspectors across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing stages.
Ensure in-line, end-line, and final inspections are conducted according to AQL and customer standards.
Monitor defect rates and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate solutions with production teams.
Maintain accurate QC documentation, inspection reports, and quality records.
Coordinate with production, planning, and technical teams to ensure quality compliance.
Participate in internal audits and customer quality audits.
Train and coach QC staff and operators on quality standards and inspection procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.
7–10 years of experience in Quality Control within a textile or garment manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and inspection systems.
Hands-on experience with AQL, in-line, end-line, and final inspections.
Proven experience leading and supervising QC teams.
