Job Responsibilities

Import/Export Procedures:

• Prepare and review shipping documents (invoice, list, certificate of origin).
• Coordinate with Omani customs offices to clear goods
• Monitoring tariff challenges and local regulations
• Ensure shipments comply with laws (especially equipment for low-voltage systems)
• Update shipment records and customs cost data

Multilingual Communication:

• Simultaneous Chinese/Arabic interpretation during inspections.
• Coordinate with Chinese suppliers and local warehouses

Skills

Job Requirements

Qualification & Experience:

• Certificate in International Trade or Customs Shipping (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in the field of customs (especially in the Sultanate of Oman)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in electronic customs clearance systems (e.g. Bisan system in Oman)
• Knowledge of the tariff classification (HS Code)

Languages:

• Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (for correspondence with suppliers).
• Proficiency in Arabic for local procedures.
