Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our Technical Office team. The role involves performing structural analysis, designing structural elements, and preparing engineering drawings in compliance with the Egyptian Code of Practice and relevant international standards. The candidate will also contribute to material selection, project documentation, and provide technical support throughout project phases to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project objectives and develop structural design solutions that meet safety and performance requirements.
Perform load analysis, structural calculations, and material selection in line with the Egyptian Code and project specifications.
Prepare and review structural drawings, blueprints, and technical documents for construction projects.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and site engineers to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
Provide recommendations on safety, durability, and sustainability of structural elements.
Prepare and update project documentation, contracts, and reports.
Manage and maintain the project’s technical database.
Review and interpret project contracts and ensure compliance with technical and legal requirements.
Support in resolving technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering.
Proficiency in structural design software.
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
Familiarity with the Egyptian Code of Practice and local building laws/regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to identify engineering problems and propose innovative solutions.
