Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for solar energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software to support product development and manufacturing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers, to integrate mechanical designs into complete solar solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and stress analyses to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Participate in prototype fabrication, testing, and evaluation to refine designs and resolve technical challenges.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for design specifications, test results, and engineering changes.
Support the selection and specification of materials, components, and manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during installation, commissioning, and operation of solar systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance product quality, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in mechanical design and renewable energy applications.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
1-2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the renewable energy or related industry.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with design validation techniques, including simulations and stress analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.
