We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end solution architecture of a large-scale, multi-year digital transformation initiative. The role covers cloud-native platforms, enterprise integration, data governance and analytics, digital experience channels, and emerging technologies (AI & IoT).
This is a hands-on architecture role — the architect will not only define blueprints and guide teams but will also write skeleton code, reference implementations, and platform templates to ensure delivery teams follow best practices. Prior experience leading similar multi-domain transformation programs is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the end-to-end solution architecture across applications, integration, data, analytics, and digital experience.
- Ensure cloud-native, API-first, microservices, and event-driven architecture principles are followed.
- Lead the integration strategy between new platforms and legacy systems.
- Drive the implementation of data governance, master data management, and analytics capabilities.
- Guide teams in adopting observability, DevSecOps, and CI/CD automation.
- Oversee the introduction of AI and IoT platforms into production use cases.
- Write hands-on skeleton code and reference projects (e.g., .NET Core service templates, Kafka producers/consumers, API stubs).
- Develop and enforce solution playbooks and developer guidelines for consistent adoption across teams.
- Provide technical assurance across vendors and delivery teams during design, build, and deployment.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate with executives and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Skills
· Cloud & Infrastructure
- Cloud solution design (Azure preferred).
- Identity and access management (Azure Entra ID, B2C, federation).
- Networking, security, and hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, firewalls).
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep).
· Applications & APIs
- Microservices architecture with .NET Core, Java Spring, or Node.js.
- API Management (Azure APIM or equivalent).
- REST/gRPC design, versioning, security (OAuth2, JWT).
- Central/shared services (notifications, rules engines, audit, logging).
· Integration
- Enterprise Integration Platforms (webMethods, MuleSoft, or similar).
- Event streaming platforms (Kafka).
- Schema governance (Avro/JSON Schema registry).
- Orchestration and transformation (canonical models, mapping).
· Data & Analytics
- Data lakehouse design (Azure Fabric/OneLake, Synapse).
- Master Data Management (CluedIn, Informatica, or similar).
- Data governance tools (Purview, Collibra, etc.).
- BI & reporting (Power BI).
- Data pipelines (Fabric pipelines, Azure Data Factory).
· AI & IoT
- AI/ML platforms (Azure ML, MLOps pipelines).
- Feature stores, model registries, monitoring & retraining.
- IoT architecture (Azure IoT Hub, DPS, Edge gateways).
- Device onboarding, telemetry standards, and security.
· Operations & Observability
- Monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Elastic).
- Logging standards, distributed tracing, correlation IDs.
- Incident management, alerting, and runbook automation.
Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies
- Strategic thinking, stakeholder management, mentoring, change leadership, risk management, strong documentation & governance.
Qualifications
- 12+ years in IT, with 5+ as a Solution Architect in large-scale transformations.
- Proven experience delivering digital transformation projects at enterprise scale — this is a must.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, Kafka/MDM/Integration certs.
