About the Role
As an English Translator, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality translations that meet both linguistic and cultural standards. You will be responsible for translating various types of documents while ensuring consistency, clarity, and compliance with client requirements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent language skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate documents and content from Arabic to English and English to Arabic with precision and cultural sensitivity.
- Ensure translations are consistent with brand tone, terminology, and style guidelines.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to maintain accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with project managers and editors to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct research on specialized terminology to ensure accurate translations.
- Handle confidential materials with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, English, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in English-Arabic translation (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Strong command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with translation software or CAT tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results under deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, multicultural team.
