This role emphasizes improving profitability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management and Reporting: Lead the month end activities and prepare accurate monthly and annual monthly financials Insightful analysis of actual performance versus budgets as well as working on operational efficiencies Ad-hoc reporting and analysis based on requirements Coordinating and closing annual statutory auditBudgeting and Forecasting Lead preparation of long and short term business plans & budgets Evaluate and prepare business proposals/models for strategic business growth, supported by analysis of business environment, localregulations, commercial terms and financial returnsCost Optimization and Profitability Focus on Commercial Analysis of the business and support business decision making with insightful analysis Analysis and interpretation of trends requiring management's attention, preparing and presenting clear and informative financial andmanagement reports to senior management Identify opportunities for cost-saving and operational efficiency and recommend actionable measures. Support development of pricing strategies to improve profitability Inventory management and aging analysisTaxation and Compliance Support tax team in implementation of right process for accurate tax compliancePeople Management:The incumbent is responsible for setting clear objectives and performance targets in collaboration with team members, ensuring alignmentwith overall organizational goals. This role involves actively mentoring, guiding, and providing direction to the team to cultivate skilldevelopment, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The incumbent applies structured performance management practices tomonitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and drive the team towards achieving periodic KPIs. Through strategic oversight and regularfeedback, the incumbent fosters a results-oriented environment, empowering the team to meet and exceed established benchmarks whilesupporting both individual and collective growth.Functional / Technical Competencies: Proven experience in Finance Manager role / Asst Finance manager Minimum 3-5 years experience in Retail industry Excellent Analytical skills Seasoned user of MS Excel and Power Point with exposure to configuring Power BI Dashboards and Power Query reports Knowledge of SAP ECC
