Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Specialist to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for a fresh graduate eager to gain experience in transportation and logistics management. The Transportation Specialist will be responsible for overseeing truck operations, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring smooth execution of deliveries using our Transportation Management System (TMS).
Key Responsibilities:
•Monitor and manage daily truck movements and schedules.
•Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries and address any issues.
•Track shipments and update records in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
•Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
•Assist in optimizing routes for cost efficiency and timely deliveries.
•Report any transportation-related challenges and suggest improvements.
•Maintain communication with internal teams to align transportation activities with business needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
•No prior experience required; training will be provided.
•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
•Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
•Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel).
