Job Description

Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for industrial control systems in oil and gas projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver turnkey EPC projects from conceptual design through commissioning.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other automation platforms.
Conduct site assessments and support installation, testing, and commissioning of automation and safety systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications throughout all project phases.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting to ensure timely delivery.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend innovative automation solutions.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of hardware, software, and instrumentation for control systems.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
2-5 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems.
Strong understanding of industrial control systems, instrumentation, and safety systems.
Experience with turnkey EPC project execution from design to commissioning.
Familiarity with international standards and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, ISA, NFPA).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
