Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Line Cook located in Kuwait City. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes according to the bistro's recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace, and assisting in inventory management and food preparation. Tasks include ensuring food quality and presentation, complying with health and safety regulations, and coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cooking techniques, knowledge of food preparation, and ingredient handling
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and comply with food safety standards
- Experience working in a fast-paced culinary environment and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or bistro environment
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per the bistro's operational requirements
