Job Description

Inspects and ensures the quality of the final product by conducting tests (taste, appearance, and aroma) on batches of finished snacks before approval for packaging and shipping.

Monitors the production process (In-Process Control): Monitors Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Operational Control Points (OPRPs) on the snack production line to ensure all stages of manufacturing (mixing, baking/frying, seasoning, and packaging) comply with quality standards.

Supervises the inspection and receipt of raw materials and packaging materials arriving at the factory, ensuring they meet established specifications.

Conducts and implements periodic audits and inspections to identify non-compliance and implement corrective actions.

Supervises and calibrates the maintenance of measuring and testing equipment used in the Quality Control department. Ensures the documentation and maintenance of all quality records, inspection reports, and audit reports.

Provides production support and advice regarding corrective actions necessary to improve process quality and reduce waste. Ensures and implements effective training for factory team members in food safety and quality control.

Identifies non-conforming products or processes after inspection, immediately isolates them, and issues detailed Non-Conformity Reports (NCs).
Maintains documentation of quality control activities and procedural changes.

Job Requirements

  •  Bachelor of Science degree, Food Science, or a related field.
  •  2-5 years of experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role, preferably in the food industry.
  •  Strong knowledge of quality management systems and relevant regulatory standards.
  •  Experience with quality inspection, auditing, and testing methodologies.
  •  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  •  Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and hygiene.
  •  Willingness to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
