Job Description

• Source and procure food and beverage products from local suppliers in alignment with company quality and cost standards.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure the best value for the organization.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on reliability, product quality, and delivery capabilities.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for all transactions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and forecast demand.
• Track supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the local procurement function.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and market trends.

Job Requirements

• 2-5 years of proven experience in local purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with a track record of building supplier relationships.
• Solid understanding of local market dynamics and supplier networks within Egypt.
• Ability to analyze and compare supplier offers to ensure optimal purchasing decisions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and purchasing software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English (written and spoken).
