Job Description

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for raw materials and packaging.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services in alignment with production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or invoice disputes in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to align purchasing strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis for management review.
• Continuously seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce procurement costs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of proven experience in purchasing and requisition within food manufacturing (mandatory).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external suppliers.
• Solid understanding of purchasing processes, contract management, and inventory control.
• Proficiency in using purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment
