Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food under the guidance of senior chefs
- Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Ensure food storage areas are clean and comply with health and safety regulations
- Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries properly
- Support with plating and garnishing during service
- Comply with hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Take part in daily kitchen operations and contribute to team efficiency
