Job Description

The Pastry Chef is a vital role within the hospitality and accommodation industry, responsible for creating a wide range of delicious desserts and pastries that enhance the dining experience. 4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen and equipment.
5. Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and special dessert offerings.
6. Train and mentor junior pastry staff, providing guidance on techniques and presentation.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the pastry offerings.
8. Conduct taste tests and quality checks to ensure all products meet the restaurant's standards.
9. Develop and implement new dessert recipes to attract and retain customers.
10. Participate in food cost control and budgeting for the pastry section.
