Role Description
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for building, nurturing, and managing strategic relationships with partner organizations. This role ensures strong collaboration, maximizes value for both parties, and supports the organization’s growth and impact through effective partnership engagement.
Responsibilities
1. Partnership Development & Management
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives.
• Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners, ensuring satisfaction and mutual benefit.
• Develop partnership strategies, frameworks
, and agreements (MOUs, contracts, SLAs).
2. Communication & Coordination
• Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and its partners.
• Facilitate regular check-ins, reviews, and joint planning sessions.
• Ensure partners are updated on organizational initiatives, opportunities, and results.
3. Strategic Alignment & Growth
• Work with internal teams (marketing, operations, capacity building, etc.) to leverage partnerships effectively.
• Identify opportunities for co-branding, joint projects, or resource sharing.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor
activities to inform partnership strategy.
4. Performance & Reporting
• Set KPIs for partnerships and track progress.
• Develop reports on partner activities, engagement outcomes, and impact.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for partnership improvements
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
